Alacra is happy to announce the addition of NewsEdge, from Thomson/Dialog as a premium database. While NewsEdge Editors� Picks have been available for free on the Alacra News tab for quite some time, we have recently added a current news service from NewsEdge with enhanced search options and content available on a pay-per-view basis.

Dialog's NewsEdge service provides real-time business news from thousands of authoritative sources. Stories are organized within the NewsEdge taxonomy, featuring categorization of content on over 60 vertical industries and hundreds of granular business topics. Stories are also categorized for relevance to over 30,000 publicly traded companies from around the world. You can search NewsEdge by keyword, company, date, publication, and concept. News is available for the past 90 days.

In addition, NewsEdge is now accessible on the Alacra Company Snapshot under the �Recent News� heading (replacing Business & Industry News). This area displays the five most recent news headlines on a company and allows you to access the rest with a single click.
