Alacra is happy to announce a number of enhancements to our service. The most significant of which now allows customers to Set User Preferences for databases menu and search results displays, printing formats and more.
Using this new feature, you can now customize your DATABASES menu!1 The next time you log onto Alacra, click DATABASES on the menu bar. Then click Customize your Databases Menu. Check off the premium databases you want to see displayed in your list and even rename them if you like. From then on, this will be your default list. Your list will no longer be broken down by category but will inlcude a link to a complete alphabetical list of premium databases. You can make changes at any time afterward by clicking on TOOLS, Set User Preferences.
The Premium Data Tab is now the default screen displayed for all keyword and/or advanced search results. To change the default and/or re-order the tabs, you may click on TOOLS, Set User Preferences.
In addition, for those of you using Internet Explorer, we have made a change so that hitting "Enter" will no longer activate the saved search feature.
1Customers accessing Alacra with a shared user id, via custom site or company intranet may not have access to Set User Preferences. Please call us if you have questions.
