I/B/E/S Global Aggregates now on .xls

Data Downlink is pleased to announce the release of I/B/E/S Global Aggregates on .xls. .xls is currently the only source for accessing this database on a pay-as-you-go basis. I/B/E/S Global Aggregates provides bottom-up earnings forecasts plus related data for 56 countries and major international indices. I/B/E/S S&P 500 Aggregates take the power of aggregate forecasts one step further by allowing users to evaluate the US market at the sector and industry level. I/B/E/S takes the earnings expectations of all stocks in an index, country, or industry to create projected earnings, growth rate and P/E estimates for each market. I/B/E/S also provides revisions activity and historical data to help identify trends and capitalize on changes in market sentiment.

.xls allows you to:

• Search for aggregates based on fundamental criteria (such as country or industry) or on financial numbers (such as forecasted earnings growth).
• Select an Aggregate Snapshot report (a summary of current data) or an Aggregate History report (the full history of the selected aggregate on a monthly basis) for any aggregate. The amount of available history varies between 4 and 15 years depending on the aggregate.
